A pervasive and excessive need to be taken care of that leads to submissive and clinging behavior and fears of separation, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts.

Thanks so muh for the flowers, they're really pretty.

I've been really busy lately, loads of research. I don't really miss Arkham, but I do miss my patients. :(

Dr H

This is idiotic, and I refuse to go along with it another day.

Either fire me or don't fire me, but enough with the tag-a-long watch dog.

It's insulting and it undermines the relationships that I have with the patients on my rounds when he starts yelling at me in the hallways about how Victor Angerona isn't insane 'like Joker', and generally starts acting like some big freakazoid.

It's also not any of his business, and no reflection on my capabilities as a doctor, how much or how little makeup I wear on any given day.

She likes working with the patients in Arkham, she likes her co-workers. Most of them. (Not Dr. Huang, it should be noted) She enjoys her work, and somedays, she doesn't think about the Joker at all. Sometimes, she doesn't think about talking to him again, about having given him the map. The mixtape.

Those days are very, very rare. But they do happen.

She likes working with the patients of Arkham, she likes talking to them. She likes them, period. They're interesting, fascinating, and for the most part intelligent. (They aren't him, but who is)

So when there are new patients, patients on the record, she gets curious. When she hears about patients who think that they're someone else, she gets curious. She's not stupid, she knows how rare something like that actually is.

A patient who thinks he's Harvey Dent.

A patient who was in a fire and thinks that he's Harvey Dent.

A patient named Eric Dowd who was in a fire and thinks that he's Harvey Dent.

Yeah.

Right.

Just because I want to speak with one particular patient does not mean that I am suggesting that none of the other patients are interesting to me. They are, of course they are. It's just that he's more interesting to me at the moment. I mean, he's so different than the other patients. Isn't he? They really aren't that hard to understand, to diagnose. But with him...

No one even knows who he is. And I suppose that I understand why I'm not allowed to speak with him.

I don't know.

It seems like it'd be a lot easier to get ahold of him, to talk with him if he weren't in Arkham.
